The Royal British Legion

Since our very first trip to the American games, The Royal British Legion has been our most generous supporter. BEWSA is a branch of the RBL in it’s own right, having it’s own standard and representative within the RBL. The Legion also granted BEWSA its own place in the Cenotaph march past on Remembrance Sunday and those of our members who attend say what a moving experience it is. BEWSA subsidises the travel for this event and also pays for the overnight accommodation. We try to keep our membership fee low which hopefully encourages our members to become members of the RBL too. After all, we are heavily supported by them. However, joining the RBL is not a pre-requisite to membership, so don’t worry if you can’t afford this. See membership details.

The Not Forgotten Association

The Not Forgotten Association has also been one of our earliest supporters, sponsoring a number of our members attending the American Games. They are also extremely generous in giving our members a number of invitations to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace and also a Christmas party at St James’ Palace. A number of our members have also had the opportunity to experience all the activities at the Calvert Trust outward Bounds centre in Devon. Again, kindly provided by The Not Forgotten Association.
